機器の故障 - interface DAC PCI-3340

多チャンネルの音声送出システムで、RIONが10年以上前に作ったシステムの故障である。PCI-3340という16bit 8chのボードを 2枚束ねて16chの送出システムとなっていたが、片方のDACがまったく信号を出力しなくなった。安ければよいが、19万円近くする高価なボードで、おいそれと買うわけにいかない。それで、修理できればということになった。 DAC ICの故障で入手が困難だと困るが、今回の場合はcoselのDCDCの故障であった。負電圧は生成されるが、正電圧が出力されないので、出力にあるコンデンサの故障か近辺と思われるが、樹脂に埋め込んであるので、DCDCモジュール自体の交換となる。ZUW10 05 15という型番で、ネットの通販でも入手できるようであったが、なるべく早くとのことで、秋葉原で買えるところに行った。東京ラジオデパートという由緒あるパーツ店が集まっている所で、一階にあるジャパン・フラッグというお店である。

後日談であるが、2017年、年明けに行った所、閉店していた。外国人向けの中古PCの販売店となっていた。向かいの店主に聞いた所、特に他に移ったでもないとのことで、会社ごと終わりである。実は、このお店はあまり利用したことがなかったし、お客さんが何か買っているのを見ることはほとんどなかった。商品自体は、日本製の高品質なモジュール製品が多かったので、全然売れない商材ではないと思う。しかし、ネット通販が発達した現在、よほど急ぐ等ない限り、ネット通販で購入することが多いのだろう。時代の流れというわけか。少し寂しくはある。できる範囲で、使わないと、お店はなくなってしまうのだ。

2017年、初夏に回ったところ、今度は山王電子が閉店していた。10年以上前に初めて秋葉原に部品を買いに行った時からいつもお世話になっていたお店であるが、時代の流れなのか。寂しいの一言である。

            out what tab it is
